Here's the report for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. (Didn't fish Sunday). Saturday started cloudy and 65 degrees and light N/E wind. Fished 6:30 am - Noon. Winds picked up later. Had 4 bass a Dwayne's Island. 3 Bass at Upper Deep Bay. Conger - Nadda! Fished a little bit in the afternoon. Denise caught 3 at Conger. In the evening we fished The Cut N/W shore. Caught 6 bass. I had a 3 lb 3 oz best for the day. Caught 16 fish for the day.
Friday the 13th - Turned out to be a great day of fishing Denise and I both caught our biggest of the year so far. Denise 3 lb 5 oz lady lunker in M.P. Bay. Brian 4 lb 5 oz lunker in Lonesome Bay. We had 22 fish for the morning. Action picking up! For the evening was had 12 fish. Two double headers. Denise caught most of the fish and has been hot lately. She had 3 bass in 3 casts at Dwaynes Island. 34 total bass for the day.
Saturday - Winds finally changed to S/W. Fished mouth of Fish Creek. Had a couple. Went to M.P. Bay caught a few. One nice one at 3 lb 4 oz. Middle Point Bay produced a hand full. It also produced a visit from the D.E.C. officers. We were totally legal of course! We caught 15 bass for the morning. In the evening we fished U.D. Bay and Conger. Caught 7. So for the day we caught 22 bass.
Sunday - No fishing. Boo hoo hoo. Have to give the bass a chance sometime. Ha Ha! So, 72 total bass for the trip. Not too shabby. Water level still dropping slowly and I'd say almost at normal level. I had to move the boat hoist out about 2 feet because of the water level. Well, that wraps up another trip for the Lunker Hunters. It's been such a great year!!! Until next weekend...
Fish On!
