August 31st - Sept 3rd fishing report

We don't have any fishing pictures from this trip but here are some shots of the Blue Moon.  Evening of August 30th.

Friday 31st -  Nice warm day, 85 degrees, but severe winds kept us off the lake.  Went shopping in The Burg and bought a new couch.

Saturday, Sept 1 -  Clear sky to start, north wind 63 degrees.  Fished 7:10 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Caught 11 bass.  We had 1 double header.  Didn't catch any big one.  Fished nearby Conger Island, Conger Shoals, U.D.B and The Cut.  Turned into a beautiful day weather wise.  Fished 6:15 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Caught 3 bass.  Fished the Devils Graveyard, U.D.B., and Pin Island.  Evening fishing was slow.  14 total bass for the day.

Sunday, Sept 2 - Cloudy and light north wind to start, 58 degrees.  Fished 6:40 a.m. - 11:50 a.m.  Fished alone.  Caught 9 bass.  Nothing big.  Fished near Jennies Island, Emery Island, U.D.B and Conger.  Another beautiful day weather wise!  80's.  Fished 6:15 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Caught 4 bass.  Fished Naked Man Point and Pin Island.  13 total bass for the day.

Monday, Sept 3 -  Clear, calm and cool to start, 53 degrees.  Fished 8:20 a.m. -12:15 p.m. Fished alone.  Caught 5 bass.  Fishing is slow.  Water level is the lowest I have ever seen it.  Water is still green with algae blooms.  We need some substancial rains bad!  However, another beautiful day with temps in the mid 80's.  We had a great Labor Day holiday!

32 total bass for the long holiday.  Didn't catch anything big but had a lot of fun as usual.  Until next time folks...                  Fish On!
