Sept 8th & 9th fishing report

No pics this week so here's one from August 10th.  4 lb 10 oz Lunker and 3 lb 10 oz.

Saturday, Sept 8 -  Arrived 11 a.m.  We had 2 1/2 inches of rain in our gauge.  Woo hoo!  Finally got some good rain.  Lake level is up around 4 inches or so.  Major wind today so no fishing possible.  Also had a brief rain storm in the afternoon today.  It was raining sideways the wind was so strong.  NOAA weather station had a tornado watch for St. Lawrence county today.  A cold front is supposed to move in tonight.

Sunday, Sept 9 -  Cold front definately moved in.  COLD to start, 48 degrees. BRRRRRR!!!  Cold but fishable.  Fished 7:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.  Very light west wind.  Caught 9 bass.  Caught most in the dense weeds near the K buoy.  Also fish Upper Deep Bay, Emery Shoal (dead), M.P.B, and R.P.B.  Weeds are still dense in many areas making it tough to fish.  Warmed up to low 70's in the afternoon.

Short trip, came up alone, not much fishing.   9 total bass.  Most between 12" - 14" inches.

Next weekend is the Dash for Cash - Big Bass - Lunker Hunt, Tournament.  Practice will be on Saturday the 15th, tournament is Sunday 16th 7:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m.  136 teams are registered.  Hopefully we will do well and get a top 20 finish.  Well that's a wrap folks!  Until next week...    Fish On!
